FYI: A 10 minute in office wedding provided for those who are in legal need and for those heading to destination weddings, no Ceremony. (Signing done only, two witnesses needed, 4 persons only)

Please be informed: Many Towns & Cities up the Ottawa Valley no longer offer marriages at their City Halls, Courthouses or by a Justice of the Peace.

We have performed many ethnic weddings for East European, South American & Chinese nationalities who are welcome for a totally civil marriage ceremony who have or will be having a ceremony reflecting their cultural traditions but their religious leader does not have their license to perform marriages.

Create Memories With A Ceremony Special to you at a far lower cost then City Hall or other Officiants

1. You can have your wedding outdoors on a special outdoor ceremonial deck surrounded by the Chapel gardens. This is not a Reno style wedding, it is done with dignity and respect to the sanctity of marriage yet done with fun and joy reflecting the happiness of the day.
2. We have a indoor Chapel if the weather is inclement. Both the Chapel and outdoor Ceremony Deck are seasonally decorated. See our beautiful pictures of other weddings and gardens go to our photo gallery. You want more then a converted office room at City Hall. Which holds only 10 people.
3. Save your money for more important things you will need for your family, we are a ministry wanting to make your wedding day a special moment to remember not just a rubber stamped ceremony. Many call it a low key or cheap wedding, but we make it a wonderful moment in your life.
4. You can have a religious ceremony which the city can not offer, honour your faith and not just have a secular civil ceremony. We offer both Civil and a Christian Non-Denominational (Mentions God) ceremonies and a Catholic/Anglican ceremony.
5. The costs of driving to our Chapel are far cheaper then stop and go city driving three times once for the licence, second time to book the wedding and then the wedding day itself, at City hall everything has to be done in person at the downtown City Hall or Courthouse and think of all the parking costs you will save.
6. Enjoy the quiet country side at our estate, not a noisy city hall corridor and take some pictures in our gardens handier then having to go to a park.
7. Have an experienced wedding officiant/Minister perform your marriage not just a city employee paid by your taxes. Justice of the Peace no longer really do weddings they are too busy. Have a real wedding ceremony that you have come to know and expect.
8. City Hall is open only on week days not weeknights and only for 2 hours Friday 5-7 PM and Saturday 2-3 PM for 20 minutes with a 7 minute legal civil ceremony, no Sundays or Civic Holidays. We are open for you anytime. Open all year round.
9. All documentation is handled by us and properly recorded with the government. You only need to apply for the "Marriage Certificate" 90 days after the ceremony yourself.
10. No Planning meeting provided at all

Fees for our half hour Wedding (Tax not Included)

1. Monday to Thursday open only after 4:30 PM ($225.00) City Hall Not open
2. Friday until 3:30 $250.00
3. Friday at 4:00 $288.00  (City Hall $300.00 to $377.00 Tax included 7 min ceremony)
3. Saturday to Sunday $288.00 (City Hall up to $377.00 tax Included if available)
4. Civic Holidays weekends Friday to Monday, our fee is $290.00 (City Hall is not open at all to serve you) also the week between Christmas and New Years.
5. In office 10 minute wedding with 2 witnesses $132.75 plus tax for legal needs and destination weddings. Anytime on weekend or after 4:30 weekdays. (Justice of the Peace type wedding) No Ceremony just required legal questions asked, only 4 persons allowed
6.  Extra half hour at $75.00 for picture time, a wedding maybe booked during this time slot.

Our services include the ceremony only and time is strict due to the number of weddings conducted.

Our Procedures For Our City Hall or Courthouse Chapel Wedding

1. You will need a valid Marriage Licence in hand. From any Client Centre (Old City Halls). Or local City Halls in the valley. Licence is valid same day it is issued. Lasts 90 days.
2. You will need two witnesses. Required
3. For short notice wedding phone us at (613-489-2678) or e-mail ahead for an appointment. Same day appointment is possible in summer months. A 12-24 hour notice is necessary in the winter months.(No need to come in person to book as at the City Hall or Courthouse which is first come first served.)   
4. All you need to do is to be here 15 minutes before your ceremony to fill out an information sheet or go to our Contact Us and fill it out before hand and send it on ahead.
5. We have three ceremonies to choose from, Civil (No mention of God) and our Christian Non-Denominational (Mentions God) also the Catholic/Anglican ceremony
6. After booking bring your family and friends to our seasonally decorated Chapel (15 Guests not including the Couple or young children) and have a wonderful wedding day inside or out dependent on the weather with great picture opportunities for one half hour. (City Hall is in a converted office space and allows just 20 minutes per wedding with a 7 minute ceremony with 5 guests).
7. Cash only please at this time.
8. You must be clear of mind. Under Provincial Law couples and witnesses must not be under the influence of any intoxicants. (We have the right to refuse service, as required under our license).

Just remember City Hall or Courthouses conduct over 900 weddings a year and mostly during the peak wedding season, you may never get the date that is important to you and your loved one.
